Once you click OK to close the warning window, you can access Junk Settings window in Outlook to manage Safe/Blocked Senders list. To enable the Junk E-mail filter for this account, switch to Cached Exchange Mode.” You will get a warning that “The Junk E-mail is not available for your Microsoft Exchange e-mail account because you are working online. They can still manage their Safe senders List and Blocked senders list using Outlook. But users who are using Outlook in Online mode will have Enable/Disable their Junk Email Filters using OWA. The above two options are only valid for Outlook running in Cached mode. So Exchangneers have to either set the Junk Email Filters to “No Automatic Filtering” using GPO or Disable Junk Email Filters in Outlook completely using a registry key. But most of the times end-uses don’t like this feature or actually don’t like fact that some of their important emails are delivered to “Junk Email” folder in Outlook. Junk Email filters is a very nice feature that comes out-of-the-box with MS Exchange 2007/2010/2013 and Outlook 2007/2010.
